On this trip, enjoy a 1-day Mombasa safari to the exceptional Shimba Hills National Reserve, home to the largest areas of coastal rain forest in East Africa, with a scheduled lunch at the fantastic Shimba Hills Tree Lodge. Within the Shimba Hills National Park, there will be an exciting safari game drive, where you could have a chance to spot some elephants, giraffes, buffalos, baboons, gazelles, rare sable antelopes, the different species of birds, as well as, enjoy the lovely flora and fauna to be found. Safari Itinerary
Leave Mombasa early in the morning and drive to Shimba Hills via the Likoni ferry and through Digo (local Coastal tribes people) homesteads and coconut plantations and arrive at the Shimba Hills National Reserve gate and begin a game drive visiting Sheldrick's Waterfalls at 11.00 am escorted by a game ranger.Lunch at the Shimba Hills Tree Lodge which has a waterhole visited by animals night and day, fish eagles prey on fish.
Afternoon safari game drive in the Shimba Hills National Reserve then drive back to your hotel.
