Tsavo East National Park is a true wilderness that teems with all manner of wildlife and birds. While on this 1 day Tsavo East Safari you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffaloes, Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, elands and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
Safari Itinerary
Depart from your Mombasa early in the morning and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi highwayto Tsavo East National Park's 'Bachuma gate'. After park entry formalities, enter the park and begin safari game drive looking out for different wildlife and bird species while enjoying the flat plains. You will also visit Aruba Dam where plenty of wildlife come to drink especially in dry seasons. Lunch will be had at your pre-booked safari camp or lodge.
Tsavo East National Park is a wilderness home to over 1,000 plant species, 400 bird species and more than 60 mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, huge elephant herds, zebras, impalas and gazelles among other animals.
