3 Days Tsavo East and Taita Hills Salt Lick Safari

This trip offer a 3 days Safari from the gorgeous coastal city of Mombasa to Kenya's Largest game sanctuary, the Tsavo East National Park, which is famed for it's huge herds of elephants and the infamous man-eating lions who nearly brought the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway to a halt in the 1890s! During this trip, you will also have a chance to visit the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary, a privately owned game sanctuary which borders the Tsavo West National park and is home to over 50 species of mammals and 300 species of birds including the extremely rare Taita Falcon! Come along with us to experience all these amazing highlights of Kenya!

Day 1: Diani/Mombasa - Tsavo East

Depart from Diani/Mombasa early in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park, enter the Tsavo East through Bachuma Gate by mid-morning game viewing in search for lions, elephants giraffe, buffalo e.t.c. Lunch will be at pre-booked Safari Camp or Lodge. After lunch, depart for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo East - Taita Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary

Early pre-breakfast game drive. Later return to your Safari Camp/Lodge for breakfast. Mid morning game drive as you exit Tsavo East for Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary arriving in time for lunch at the Salt Lick Lodge. An afternoon game in the sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick lodge.

Day 3: Taita Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary - Diani/Mombasa

Pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check-out of the lodge abd proceed for a mid-morning game drive before leaving the game sanctuary and driving back to Diani/Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon.
